Dr. Koohestani is our medical director and board certified in family medicine as well as Osteopathic Manipulative Therapy. He completed his undergraduates studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara and received his doctorate degree in osteopathic medicine from Western University of Health Sciences, in Pomona, California. He completed his family medicine residency at Wilson Memorial Regional Medical Center in Binghamton, New York, where he served as both chief resident and president of the house staff. Although he is part of the first ever group of physicians to be certified as Functional Medicine practitioners in November of 2013, he has been practicing medicine utilizing a holistic systems-based approach for well over a decade.

Dr. Koohestani is Board certified in Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT) and incorporates these techniques in care of our patients on as needed basis.

This is part of our membership services but non members may also make arrangements to receive OMT, once they have had an initial structural exam. Please inquire from one of our patient services coordinators for additional information.
